Dallas, October 21, 2011 – Oyezz Real Estate, DFW’s leading short sale real estate firm, is partnering with First American Title to offer short sale training to other real estate agents.
The complimentary “Short Sale 101” class, scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., will cover the basics of short sales and what every agent needs to know from listing to closing.
Training includes lunch and will be held at First American Title at 3516 Preston Road, Suite 100, in Plano. Registration is requested, through First American Title at 972-596-1269.
“Short sales are complex and require specialized skills and experience,” said John Anderson, president of Oyezz Real Estate. “Short sales will continue to grow until the economy and housing market rebound. If real estate agents are going to serve homeowners and buyers properly, they need to understand the intricacies of short sales.”
In a short sale, the property is sold for a price below the amount of the loan. The lender agrees to accept the sale proceeds as payment in full, and the homeowner walks away from the home free of debt and free of the “stain” of a foreclosure on their credit report.
Oyezz Real Estate has been handling short sales since before the housing market downturn made such sales more common. The company has a dedicated short sale team, professional trained negotiators, and extensive training in short sales and lender negotiations.
